Food Regulation Partnership Workshop 2015; and, Environmental Health Australia 40th National Conference
The role of an Environmental Health Officer is a critical one.
Ensuring food sold in NSW’s retail food sector is safe for human consumption and correctly labelled delivers long term benefits for consumers and the broader community and improves the NSW food industry’s reputation as a safe and valuable provider.
The retail food industry benefits from well informed EHOs and it is essential that opportunities are regularly provided for them to attend training and open forums to discuss requirements and new initiatives in the retail food sector and to share experiences with peers.
In October this year, two such events are taking place with the FRP Workshop 2015 being held on Monday 19 October and the EHA 40th National Conference taking place immediately following from Tuesday 20 October – Thursday 22 October.
The NSW Food Authority encourages all local government EHOs attend both of these significant events.
